SUNDAY SCHEDULE
(Beginning Sept. 18th)


Morning Prayer
8:00-8:30 am
/ 9:15-9:45 am
In the Sanctuary.  This is a time of devotions and prayer as we prepare ourselves for corporate worship.

Sunday School (for all ages)
9:00 - 10:00 am
Children and youth meet on the Yellow floor (2nd Floor above the Gym) for music and bible lessons. Adults meet in Friendship Hall with Mark Pouliot. This year's focus: "The Lord's Prayer"

Worship Service
10:00-11:30 am

In the Sanctuary. Child care for children ages 4 and under is provided during the service. Children ages 5-10 are welcome to attend Junior Church every Sunday except for Communion Sundays (1st Sunday of each month) or other special Sunday services. 

Fellowship Hour
11:30 - 12:30 pm
All are welcome after service for refreshments in Friendship Hall.

 

Reading the Bible Together
6:00-7:30 pm

Discovering Christ in Genesis: Come join us as we dive into God's Word together. Pastor John will this time of study at the Purdy home (call or e-mail for directions).

YOUTH GROUP
Saturdays at 6 pm


The MSBC Youth Group restarts on Saturday, January 7th at 6:00 pm. For youth ages 10 and up.  All are welcome. Please call 978-388-0930 for information about the schedule and any special events!

JUNIOR CHURCH BASKETBALL

Begins Friday, February 3 from 6:30 - 8 pm

Open to all boys and girls ages 5-9

We are planning on the return of the MSBC Junior Church Basketball League. This is a non
-competitive, instructional league that is designed to teach fundamental basketball skills and
basic Bible knowledge in a fun and engaging manner.

BOY SCOUT SUNDAY

View the Boy Scout History Displays downstairs. You can purchase a copy of the “History of Troop 4” by Dianne Cole (published in April 2010).
This book is 240 pages of history compiled from church records, local newspaper articles, as well as scout memorabilia and includes the 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner. It is written in chapters highlighting each year of the troop from the beginning in 1957 with color and black & white photos. It has an index listing scouts, leaders and different awards and achievements. All proceeds benefit Troop 4. It can be purchased at W.E. Fuller Co Store,
45 Main Street, Amesbury.

Welcome to the online home of Market Street Baptist Church!  We have redesigned our web home to provide current information about our congregation and all the exciting activities taking place within it.  Here are some highlights of this brand new site:

  • This "Home" page will always contain the latest information, including our weekly schedule and breaking news announcements below!
  • "All About MSBC" has a wealth of information that lets you learn who we are, what we believe and how to find us.  There is also an always up-to-date "Monthly Events Calendar" that will always be the place to check to know what's happening when.
  • The "MSBC Blog" is a brand new feature where various MSBC leaders can frequently blog their views, thoughts and comments on whatever may strike them whenever it may strike.  We'll start with Pastor John's blog and see where we go.  So be sure to check out his blog and offer back your comments.
  • The "Members Only" area is exclusive to MSBC membership.  We'll be adding more exclusive features in the coming weeks and months.  But we'll start with a "Members Only Discussion Forum" where all members of the MSBC community can comment on a wide variety of topics, exchange ideas, and even make prayer requests!

We're not done yet!  In the coming weeks and months, look for these new exciting features on this site:
